Ticket To Ride
WHAT What is the main theme, story or key idea?
Players will collect coloured train cards and use them to build a sprawling train network across a large map of America. As they play, players will pick up 'tickets' providing them with objectives to complete; such as creating a trainline between Washington and Texas.
HOWHow do the key mechanics and ideas work?
Players are given points for creating routes between different locations, as well as special points at the end of the game for things like creating the longest train.
WHY Why is Ticket To Ride worth your time?
With only two actions per turn, Ticket to Ride is very easy to play which acts as a fantastic beginner or ‘gateway’ game. It also features a lovely theme with beautiful artwork and has many different expansions - opening up Ticket to Ride to many different countries from all over the world.
